Charlotte Muller
ERYT 500, YACEP, RYS, Studio Owner
After the unexpected loss of her mom and the diagnosis of Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) at age 17, Charlotte dove into wellness as an attempt to care for her heart, physically and emotionally.
Breathe Strength was born from her united love for yoga and fitness. First a blog, then a brand, and now a yoga studio, both in person and online, that offers creative yoga classes from the heart.
Charlotte's been teaching since 2012. Her certifications include ERYT-500, YACEP, RYS, Yoga Teacher Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Blissflow Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, and AHA Heartsaver CPR Instructor. She also taught yoga theory + practice at Hofstra University as an adjunct professor.Â
Charlotte is well known for her creative style sequencing, and runs a yoga teacher mentorship membership called the Sequencing Hub. She is passionate about helping other yoga teachers continue their education and loves creating community for yoga teachers + students alike.
Charlotte's classes will make you feel balanced, loved, and resilient.

Leslie Van Bell
ERYT 500, YACEP
Leslie Van Bell has been with Breathe Strength since its inception, bringing 18 years of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for fitness and education.
Originally from Bethpage, Leslie was involved in kickline throughout high school, laying the foundation for her active lifestyle. Her love for movement and mindfulness eventually led her to yoga, where she found her true calling.
Leslie's certifications include E-RYT 500, YACEP, and Master’s Degree in Special Education and Reading. For the past 10 years, she has co-led yoga teacher trainings, certifying over 200 new yoga teachers and enriching the yoga community.
Teaching is Leslie’s "dharma"—her life’s purpose. She was inspired to share the transformative power of yoga after being encouraged by her own instructors. Her greatest joy comes from students who share how yoga has helped them feel stronger, both on and off the mat.
In addition to teaching yoga, Leslie is a dedicated middle school educator, teaching special education, humanities, and mindfulness.
She resides in East Northport with her husband, with whom she recently celebrated 25 years of marriage. Together, they are proud parents of two sons.
Leslie's classes will make you feel empowered, strong, and loved.

Melissa Trentadue
ERYT 500
Melissa Trentadue is a local mama and is in love with the healing aspects of yoga and its ability to transform the heart, mind, body and soul. Inspired by her deep love of poetry, music, yogic philosophy and breath, Melissa strives to create a blissful and soulful class for all the beautiful humans who come her way.
Having studied at Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in NYC under the direction of Dana Flynn, each class is not just a physical devotion within our bodies, but a spiritual dance and journey on the mat. After years of teaching vinyasa flow, Melissa has advanced her studies with her long-time teacher and mentor, Elena Brower, and is honored to have completed the Art of Attention Advanced Teacher Training with Elena at VIRAYOGA.
Melissa taught in NYC for 10+ years before coming back home to Long Island with her young family & dogs and rooting herself at Breathe Strength.
Melissa teaches from her soulful heart, offering assists, language and beauty to open the bold heart and dive into our layers, letting out the freedom and softness from within.
Melissa's classes will make you feel accepted, strong, and funky-fresh.

Kristen Lindblad
ERYT 200, Reiki Master
Kristen was once told she's like a walking billboard for the things she loves + believes in, and yoga is one of those things. Her journey with yoga has not been linear -- after years of teaching, she stepped away from the practice entirely, rejecting everything yoga stood for during the darkest chapter of her life—the loss of her mother. For a time, she saw spirituality as meaningless, unable to reconcile it with her grief.
But healing has its own rhythm, and Kristen found her way back to the mat, rediscovering movement, breath, and presence. She knew that yoga wasn’t just about the poses, but about embracing every part of her experience, including the pain, the resistance, and, ultimately, the transformation.
Kristen returned to teaching with a deeper understanding of what it means to truly hold space. Now, Kristen shares yoga with reverence and authenticity, blending movement with the wisdom of lived experience. She teaches from the heart, creating spaces where students can explore, heal, and reconnect—whether that means grounding in stillness or moving through challenges with strength.
Along with teaching yoga, Kristen also offers Reiki and Tarot, and is fully immersed in the work of serving her pack. She has specialty certifications in prenatal yoga and yoga sculpt. But more than anything, Kristen is grateful—for the practice that called her back, for the students who show up, and for the life she now embraces with love.Â
Kristen's classes will make you feel balanced, grounded, and strong.

Danny Wartoro
RYT 200, LMT
Danny is a natural leader with a powerful mindset, dedicated to helping others remember the strength and wisdom they already carry within. As a double Leo (a fact his wife loves to brag about), he brings bold energy, deep presence, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every student who steps into his class.
Danny is especially passionate about creating community for men, offering spaces where they can connect, reflect, and grow. He believes that yoga is more than just movement—it’s a tool for self-discovery, a practice that leads us back to our innate value and wholeness.
Off the mat, Danny is a skilled massage therapist and co-owns Surya Wellness Massage in Northport with his wife, Maddy. Whether through bodywork, yoga, or men’s groups, his mission is the same: to guide people deeper into themselves, helping them unlock their power, wisdom, and the peace that’s been within them all along.
And while he loves a strong, fiery practice, his favorite pose is savasana—because sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is simply let go.
Danny's classes will make you feel inspired, capable, and supported.

Lydia Witt
RYT 200
Lydia is a passionate yoga teacher dedicated to empowering others—especially women—to feel confident, strong, and at home in their bodies. A graduate of Breathe Strength’s Yoga Teacher Training, she was eager to step into teaching and quickly found her voice through creative, dynamic flows that keep students engaged and inspired.
With a background as a physical therapy aid, Lydia blends movement with an understanding of the body’s mechanics. She’s deeply committed to continued education, with her eye on certifications in pre/postnatal yoga and pelvic floor health in the near future to further support women through every stage of life.
Beyond the mat, Lydia has also completed a landscape design certification, reflecting her love for growth and transformation in all forms. In her classes, you can expect an upbeat energy, a thoughtfully sequenced flow, and a trending playlist that keeps you moving.
For Lydia, yoga is more than a practice—it’s a way to cultivate confidence, strength, and joy. And she’s just getting started.
Lydia's classes will make you feel rooted, inspired, and open.
